Nominations for the 2026 University of äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Elections have now closed for elected positions on University Council, Academic Board and the Student Representative Council (SRC).

The positions for which nominations were sought are:

University Council

• 1 x Postgraduate Student Representative
• 1 x Undergraduate Student Representative

Academic Board

• 1 x Postgraduate Student Representative
• 2 x Academic Staff Representatives (Levels A-C)
• 4 x Academic Staff Representatives (Levels D-E)
• 1 x Academic Staff Representative (Research Centre or Institute)
• 1 x General Staff Representative (Level 9 or above)

Student Representative Council (SRC)

• 1 x Faculty of Arts and Design Student Representative
• 1 x Faculty of Education Student Representative
• 1 x Faculty of Business, Government and Law Student Representative
• 1 x Faculty of Health Student Representative
• 1 x Faculty of Science and Technology Student Representative
• 1 x Ngunnawal Student Representative
• 1 x International Student Representative
• 1 x Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Student Representative

The Returning Officer is currently reviewing and verifying all nominations received. Candidates will be advised of the outcome of this process and whether the position for which they have nominated will proceed to a ballot. Where the number of eligible nominations exceeds the number of vacancies available, an electronic ballot will be conducted.

For positions requiring a ballot, voting will open on Monday 19 October 2026 and close on Sunday 1 November 2026.

Elections are conducted in accordance with the University of äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Election of Staff and Student Members to Academic Board and Council Rules 2024
